Internet users took to social networks to express their dissatisfaction after King Charles III worried the British people with this action at Trooping the Colour on June 15th, as it seems that those in charge of protocol turned a blind eye and let the monarch get wet in the rain.
Royal supporters on the social network ‘X’ left comments such as “It’s a long old day for King Charles to stand in the rain tbh“, “Why is the king standing in the rain getting cold????” and even “He will get pneumonia !!!! Get him in!“.
King Charles III is currently undergoing preventive treatment for cancer, so the idea of him standing in the rain, getting wet, alarms all followers, as this could further compromise his health, as it is possible that his system is weaker than usual.
In fact, the protocol was initially changed since historically the king made the tour on horseback; however, on this occasion, with the intention of facilitating things for the monarch because of his health situation, he replaced his ride with the carriage ride.
