It all happened hours before the Princess of Wales stepped back into the public eye with her anticipated return in Trooping the Color. Surprisingly, the Duchess of Sussex’s friend, Nacho Figueras, decided to drop some teasers from her brand, American Riviera Orchard, with questionable timing.
Nacho, an Argentinian polo player, is known for being a close friend of the Sussex couple. This time, he showed off their friendship by promoting a new raspberry jam and dog biscuits on his social media—products that are the newest things in Meghan Markle’s brand.

The goodies, which were photographed alongside Nacho’s dog, Nina Iggy, seem to be sprinkling a little shade with its sweetness. At least, that’s according to some royal followers, who are not here to see Meghan Markle’s promotions as Kate Middleton battles cancer and makes her first public apparition in about 3 months…
It looks like the polo player did more than promote, too! He might have just subtly stolen the spotlight on a day historically reserved for royal history. Anyhow, as the Duchess of Sussex expands her brand, fans could not help but think these moves come with a bit of royal rivalry.
