Fans who attempted to kiss BTS’ Jin have been reported to the South Korean police

BTS’ Jin’s news of his discharge from the South Korean military filled thousands of fans with joy worldwide. Along with the great news, HYBE announced a special event to greet Jin. The most special part? His admirers could hugh him. However, the fans’ worries became a reality, and many of the attendees attempted to kiss the idol.

The idol was harassed uncountable times during the event because of reckless fans who wanted to take advantage of the situation. Fortunately, HYBE filed complaints to the Seoul Songpa Police Station about those who attempted to kiss Jin.

The police confirmed they had received a complaint through the National Petition System regarding a potential violation of the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.

“We received the complaint through the National Petition System, but we have not received a formal complaint. We have not booked the suspect yet.”
