Okay, BTS fans, time to assemble! That’s because RM was recently included in the “Best Album of 2024 So Far” list made by Rolling Stone. The ranking collects some of the most notable records released this year, including big names like Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, and of course RM—who’s also the only K-Pop artist featured.

The album in question, titled “Right Place, Wrong Person,” was complimented in the review thanks to its soulful feeling, lyrics, and “intense self-interrogation.” Rolling Stone describes RM’s second studio album as an introspective work that takes on the perspective of the “ordinary young man named Kim Namjoon.”
While the magazine did not list the albums by number, making it less competitive, one thing’s for sure: the BTS member dropped one of the most acclaimed and cohesive albums of 2024 so far. The record was dropped on May 24, 2024, preceded by singles “Come back to me” and “LOST!“
