BTS members celebrate Jin’s return home on social media during his military discharge day

Okay, BTS lovers, time to assemble! That’s because Jin has been officially discharged from the military after 18 long months. Yes, you read that right! On the sunny June 12th morning, the BTS member finally said bye-bye to serving his country under the 5th Infantry Division recruit training center. But Jin’s homecoming wasn’t just a simple event, it was one where all his bandmates got together to celebrate. 

In the ceremony, all members (except Suga) got together and were spotted being all hugs and smiles. The best part? RM playing the saxophone and the guys taking cute pics together in the middle of yummy pastries and sweets. But the celebration didn’t stop there! The BTS members also took to Instagram to welcome Jin back home on their stories.

On the one hand, RM (also known as Namjoon) posted two photos, one where he can be seen hugging Jin and another group pic with all his bandmates. On the other hand, j-hope posted a collage with Jin, adorned with purple hearts, and re-posted a photo dump from 2022, captioning it “Time flies.”

And just like that, the BTS boys prove their friendship is still going strong, despite taking some distance to serve their country! Jin was the first member to be discharged, as he entered the military in December 2022. The rest of the members are expected to complete their service by mid-2025.
