NewJeans dominates on “Music Core” with “How Sweet”

The South Korean music circuits are highly awaited for Kpop fans who want to see their favorite idols perform. Usually, when a kpop group makes their comeback, they promote their title track in a series of shows, but also to compete in which song was most popular in the country during the tracking week.

NewJeans didn’t disappoint their fans with their new song, “How Sweet.” The song along with ATEEZ’s “Work,” has been reigning and it shows every time they announce a winner at the end of the shows. This time, NewJeans had the privilege.

On June 8, a new episode of MBC’s Music Core had a great lineup of performances, including, BADVILLAIN, ARTMS, Han Seung Woo, NEXZ, XG, DXMON, HYNN, Kim Yeon Ja, and ATEEZ, among others.

At the end of the show, NewJeans’ “How Sweet,” IVE’s “HEYA,” and aespa’s “Supernova” faced off, and ultimately NewJeans emerged victorious with a total of 6,837 points. You can watch the winner’s announcement below:
