Ed Sheeran confessed that he hasn’t had a phone since 2015

In a recent interview, the renowned singer Ed Sheeran confessed that he hasn’t had a phone since 2015, which left many fans and netizens shocked since today it is difficult to imagine a life without this tool.

On June 5th, the singer of ‘Bad Habits‘ had a conversation in the interview program ‘Therapuss‘ podcast with Jake Shane in which he offered the host his email address instead of exchanging phone numbers, as he revealed, “I haven’t had a phone since 2015“.

Ed Sheeran caused great surprise when he said, “I don’t have a number” and continued, “… that isn’t me playing you off either“. He also explained the reason behind his decision, demonstrating it’s not just because of his fame; it was also a decision to enjoy his personal life even more as he was “losing real-life interaction“.

Later, he revealed his current dynamic of a life without a phone: “I got rid of [my phone], I got an iPad, I moved everything onto email, which I reply to once a week“, which for him is a “better way to limit your time” instead of texting every day.
