BTS’ Jungkook might be in the military, but his star power isn’t taking a break! His latest single “Never Let Go,” has taken the crown as the No. 1 song on the U.S. iTunes charts shortly after being dropped. The track was released for BTS’ anniversary celebration, also known to ARMY (that’s the name BTS fans wear proudly) as Festa.

Here’s the scoop: “Never Let Go” debuted at midnight EST and quickly ascended to the top spot of the iTunes tally. This debut to No. 1 displaced Eminem’s “Houdini,” which after a week in the first place, has descended to the second spot.

The hype for Jungkook’s new music extends beyond this one song. For instance, “Standing Next to You” has re-entered the charts at No. 37, while his collaborations— “3D” with Jack Harlow and “Seven” featuring Latto— are also getting attention again, making it to the top 200 of the United States iTunes chart.

“Never Let Go” might be a standalone release for now, but this initial hype from fans suggests it could make a splash on the Billboard charts. The song could potentially enter the Digital Song Sales or might even be on the Billboard Hot 100, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States. While all these are early predictions, one thing’s for sure: when Jungkook speaks, the world listens!
