BTS’ RM slays in the United States charts with his latest album “Right Place, Wrong Person”

Okay, BTS fans, time to wave your lightsticks! That’s because RM’s second studio album “Right Place, Wrong Person” just took the United States chart by storm! Released on May 24, preceded by the singles “Come back to me” and “LOST,” the rapper’s album has been welcomed with arms wide open in both his home country and internationally.

Here’s the scoop: “Right Place, Wrong Person” debuted at No.1 on the Top Rap Album Charts on Billboard, the tally that keeps track of the hottest hits in the United States, becoming his first leader. Similarly, the record also entered at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, which ranks the most popular albums in America, regardless of gender.

RM’s music is nothing short of a hit in Asia too! For instance, the album debuted at No.2 on the South Korean Circle Album Chart with 585,000 units sold. In Japan, “Right Place, Wrong Person” also took the second spot on the Oricon Albums Chart with 23,000 copies sold in its first week.
