Prince William and King Charles III attended together the tribute to veterans at a moving 80th anniversary D-Day memorial event. Both of them were actively talking with the attendees and gave heartwarming speeches. However, Kate Middleton’s absence became the elephant in the room once more.

The Prince of Wales also wanted to mention Kate Middleton, who has been struggling with her cancer during the last couple of weeks. He stated she would have loved to have joined the commentarions. However, while she recovers, she is going to be out of the public eye and remain silent regarding her health status.

It was also said that one veteran asked the Prince if Kate was getting any better during the event in Portsmouth, when he appeared to say:

“She is. She’d love to be here today.”

This has been an indirect but substantial update on Kate Middleton’s health status. On top of that, several royal insiders have reported she has been improving significantly and although she is not going to appear on royal events for the rest of the year, she is already working in some minor duties behind the scenes.
