King Charles III became the talk of the town for all the good reasons, the King gradually resumed his public royal duties. The King and Prince William were in charge of commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day in Portsmouth, England.
On June 5, the monarch of the United Kingdom was accompanied by Queen Camilla Parker while leading the event. The D-Day celebration pays tributes to veterans and Charles knew exactly how to do it during his emotional speech.
“It is a near impossible task to imagine the emotion of that day. We are all eternally in their debt.”
On the other hand, Prince William took the stage on his own as Kate Middleton is still battling with her cancer. There is no tentative date for Kate to return to her royal duties, but her absence is becoming more notorious over the months. William also gave an emotional speech to all those soldiers who survived the war.
“We will always remember those who served and those who waved them off.”
