Red Velvet is well known for giving fans a good summer bop, and this year will be no exception, with the girls scheduled to have a possible comeback in June. Initially, SM Entertainment had been very quiet about the group’s return to the spotlight, but fans are now claiming that the company is using them to turn the attention away from NCT’s recent alleged sexual scandal.

Here’s the scoop: apparently, NCT members, specifically Haechan and Johnny, have been accused of having an orgy with three girls. Two of them were allegedly NCT fans, and they have posted “proof” about the encounter, including photos and Instagram stories. The girls detailed the sexual interactions they engaged with the idols and went on to prove them with different screenshots. Including the hotel key room and one of the girls talking about member Jungwoo on her IG stories.

So far, neither SM Entertainment nor the NCT members have confirmed these rumors, which keep swirling higher as time passes by. Instead, the company has decided to shift focus and confirm Red Velvet’s comeback, seemingly taking the attention away from the sex scandal.
