BTS’ Jin will participate in a ‘free hugs event’ with fans after his discharge from the military

BTS is on the headlines once more after it was confirmed that Jin is going to be discharged from the military on June 12. His fans, better known as ARMY, couldn’t contain their excitement and HYBE corporation was well aware of it, that’s why the idol is going to host a free hugs event on June 13.

This important event will consist of two parts: the first session will be a meet-and-greet, while the second session will involve performances requested by fans. It was reported that Jin personally requested the hug part and ARMY is going to be selected by raffle.

Previously, the hugs selection was only going to be able if fans purchased as many albums as possible withing June 2 to June 6. This sparked controversy among the K-Netizens and ultimately, the idea was completely discarded. Now it is going to be selected by raffle only.

The event was created exclusively to show Jin’s gratitude towards ARMY’s unwavering love for him and the rest of the members of the boy band. This is such a unique and special event to even be closer to Jin than ever.
