After a long academic year of training at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza, Princess Leonor‘s vacation is approaching, and although she has made her parents proud for her performance during her training, it is possible that King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia are a little sad about their firstborn’s decision.
The crown princess is planning a trip with her classmates at the general academy, and although her parents are happy that their daughter is one of the group, the king and queen of Spain would be sad to know that they may not spend as much time with her as they would have liked after spending a year at the academy.
Media reports say that Princess Leonor will go on vacation in July as soon as she has the opportunity and is expected to start her new academic adventure, the Academia Naval de Marin, in September, so she may not have as much time to enjoy with her family as in other summers.
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia are proud that their daughter is developing as an independent teenager; however, spending less time with Leonor because of her responsibilities is something that would be hard for them to assimilate, as they have always been very close.
