She also commented on the current state of Palestine, condemning the recent Israeli attack on Rafah: “Burning children alive can never be justified. The whole world is mobilizing to stop the Israeli genocide. Please show your solidarity with Gaza.”

The singer is not new when it comes to advocating for Palestinian rights, yet these are her most powerful remarks against Israel’s actions. While celebrities, and most importantly world leaders, have chosen to stay silent on the issue, ever since the Raffah attacks, different public figures have expressed their sorrow and concern for the humanitarian crisis in Palestine. The Israeli attack in Raffah took place on May 26 at night, with munitions from Israel bombing a camp with tents sheltering families and children.
