Lady Gaga fans are starting to get worried about the style of her next album

One of pop music’s most prolific stars, Lady Gaga, has sparked expectancy among her followers with the announcement of a new album. The new album was announced at the end of her concert movie, where we can hear a little snippet about what is most likely one of the songs on her new album. Through all the excitement, there are some fans worried about the sonic direction of her next album. Here’s the snippet that she pasted in the last few minutes of the movie.

Lady Gaga is known for hits from her early albums, it was for songs such as “Poker Face”, “Bad Romance”, and “Just Dance,” that she got a huge fanbase, the so called Little Monsters, but they have a very specific taste when it comes Gaga’s style of music. Her fans are really into her music, but mostly (if not only) when the music can be categorized as electropop, which is the genre all the songs previously mentioned belong to. As long as Gaga releases electropop, she’s got a hit in the bag, if she releases something else, it better be a good song or she’ll see little support from her own fanbase, which is what happened when she fed her fans a new style of music in 2016 by releasing “Joanne”, a country album.

With this in mind, and without any intention to deny the artistry of “Joanne”, fans have already started to make it known that they want the new album to have electropop in it. Telling from the 6 second snippet, it will most likely be electropop, though Lady Gaga herself said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight that it will be “completely different”, which planted panic on the fans, who fear the new album could be any other genre other than their beloved electropop.
