Prince George, the second next heir to the british throne after the Prince William, might be wanting to follow his father’s footsteps and thus those of his uncle, Prince Harry, as revealed by William in a remark made at the garden party hosted by Buckingham Palace.
During a conversation the heir to the throne had with squadron leader Chrissie Lacey, a member of the Royal Air Force at Coningsby base, Prince William hinted that his son could follow in the footsteps of his two relatives when he proudly expressed that the young one would be fascinated to pay a visit to the facilities, considering his son a ‘potential and budding pilot’.
The young one’s interest would have been inherited from his father, who in his youth flew as a search and rescue pilot in the Royal Air Force based in Valley in Anglesey, and from the Duke of Sussex, his uncle the Prince Harry, who in his youth served as a helicopter pilot during his duty in the British Army.
The young royal is currently developing the character he’ll need when it’s his turn to take over the British monarchy. What do you think? Are his father and uncle a good example to follow when it comes to royal duties?
