Dua Lipa has recently dazzled fans after dropping her highly anticipated third studio album “Radical Optimism.” The dance-pop record, which debuted with healthy numbers in the United States, is now experiencing an impressive downturn on the American charts. Initially, fans and listeners seemed to be loving it in its first week, but boom! Its second week came with unfortunate results.

According to recent Billboard chart data, “Radical Optimism” has fallen down from the No. 2 spot where it debuted to No. 21 on the Billboard 200. The chart, which ranks the most important albums in the United States, has seen the album exiting the top 10 as quickly as it entered it. This sharp decline comes from the album’s drop in sales and streaming numbers.
For example, in its second week, Dua Lipa’s third project sold 23,134 equivalent units—a 70% shocking drop from its debut week, as spilled by Luminate. This downfall doesn’t look well for “Radical Optimism’s” future on the tally, as its initial hype is not translating into long-term interest from music fans and the public.
But let’s not panic just yet! Dua Lipa’s third discography project is not ready to throw the towel. The artist is known for giving each of her musical eras considerable time in the spotlight, promoting them with several singles, dazzling music videos, performances, and even remix albums and deluxe editions. What’s more, Dua Lipa has already made a name for herself in the pop landscape, and she’s not going anywhere anytime soon!
