Okay, SEVENTEEN stans, time to wave your lightsticks! That’s because the group has been making huge moves in the American charts. This is all thanks to their most recent compilation album “17 IS RIGHT HERE,” which was able to secure a second week on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, giving SEVENTEEN their fifth top 10 in the list.
What’s more, the “God of Music” hitmakers have also beat Stray Kids and ATEEZ’s record on the list, as they were able to secure a fifth Top 10 album. Previously, all three groups were tied with four Top 10 albums in the United States, but now SEVENTEEN took that crown. However, the K-pop act with the most Top 10 albums in the chart continues to be BTS, accumulating seven projects inside Billboard’s main tally.
“17 IS RIGHT HERE” opened at No. 5 on its debut week, selling 52,655 units with 48,780 actual physical sales in the country. The album has now dropped to No. 69, showing resilience in the list as most of its numbers came from physical copies boosted by the debut. In addition, SEVEENTEN’s chart success extends to other specific Billboard lists such as the World Albums Chart, Top Album Sales, and Top Current Album Sales Charts.
And just like that, the group paves their own way and breaks record on their dazzling chart journey in America.
