Kate Middleton has always been a royal powerhouse with her business taskforce, founded in 2023! And now, this group recently revealed a report claiming an impressive economic boost to the UK economy. But, hold the crown—Kate wasn’t there to celebrate the news, missing the spotlight of this big reveal.Â
Despite stepping back from the royal spotlight, her business —the Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood— has continued without her physical presence. The report of her cause “Prioritising early childhood for a happier, healthier society” predicted that £45.5 billion in value will be added to the UK’s national economy if it all goes as planned.
Formed in March 2023, this taskforce is Kate Middleton’s idea to revamp societal support for children and their surroundings during their early years. Fast forward to now, the group’s report is making some major insights from top UK businesses on helping early childhood focus. While the Princess of Wales might have not graced the occasion, Christian Guy, the executive director at The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, did mention her:
“There is such enormous potential. We urge all businesses, no matter what their shape or size, to join us—the eight founding members, the Centre for Early Childhood, and The Princess – to help transform the way our country supports the vital early years”
