Kate Middleton has overcome several challenges inside the British crown, including those who always stated she didn’t have enough engagements, despite being one of the most active royal members to date. However, things changed after everyone focused on her health because of her cancer diagnosis, and subsequent treatment.
The Princess of Wales was also brought to the table in comparison to King Charles III who already resumed his royal duties to still rule the United Kingdom. Due to the rising negative comments towards Kate, the King had something to say.
King Charles III and Kate Middleton’s relationship has strengthened over the years, particularly because of their diagnosis. Although Kate has always prioritized her children’s well-being over royal duties, she has always fulfilled them. According to the royal biographer Christopher Andersen, anyone who dares to criticize his “beloved daughter-in-law” will “risk being read the Riot Act.”
“There are those inside and outside the Palace who have criticized Kate over the years [before her diagnosis] for supposedly not shouldering her share of the royal burden, for not going to as many ribbon cuttings, hospital openings, and plaque unveilings as the late Queen Elizabeth II, the King, or Princess Anne, for instance. Charles has remained silent about this and allowed the sniping from the sidelines to continue. But no more. Now, the King brooks no criticism of Kate.”
King Charles III allegedly wants to protect Kate Middleton during the tough times she is going through, particularly to explain to the royal children what is happening with her right now. Andersen even reported that the King has also made it clear that everyone should stand down in terms of when and now how she returns to a full public schedule.
