The Sunday Times just released its list of the Richest people in 2024. It was a complete surprise for the royal followers to discover that King Charles III was now officially wealthier than the late Queen Elizabeth II, he became the 258th wealthiest person on the list.
The list explained that the Monarch of the United Kingdom’s estates, Sandringham House, and Balmoral Castle are his most valuable assets. It was reported that the King’s wealth jumped $12 million since 2023. The king has been saving profits from the Duchy of Cornwall, which in 10 years received approximately $268 million.
The King was able to surpass Queen Elizabeth II’s wealth after he inhered an investment portfolio with an estimated worth of $151 million after the Queen died. All of these factors made Charles III the 258th wealthiest person in the land.
Queen Elizabeth II, whose fortune was estimated to be $470 million in 2022, was surpassed by the King’s net worth of approximately $772 million. The King climbed from the 263 spot to the 258 in just a matter of a year.
