BTS Suga is praised because of his DVD tour announcement amid mass-purchasing Kpop albums

Social media was in charge of exposing K-Netizens’ habits of mass-purchasing Kpop albums solely for the photocards. This “innocent” behavior led to thousands of discarded albums on roads and in bins, which are having a major effect on the environment. Fortunately, BTS’ Suga found a way to solve this problem.

Although companies are still releasing huge amounts of photocards and multiple versions that contribute to increasing the issue, Suga is being praised for his recent announcement amidst the controversy.

On May 20, Suga made a great announcement to his fans, better known as ARMY, he just posted that his Agust D Tour D-DAY is going to be released on DVD. He also posted all the inclusions in the special release, including posters, booklets, postcards, and photo cards.

It was a surprise that Suga’s package contained 28 photocards from each stop of his tour. This innovative way of releasing photocards brought relief to the photocards issue. This might be the perfect way to stop polluting and discarding albums on the trash bins and roads around South Korea.
