The internet reacts to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s divorce rumors

Jennifer Lopez, famous singer and actress, and Ben Affleck, equally as famous actor, got married in 2022 after rekindling their love in 2021 after their first failed attempt to get married in 2004. The superstar couple have been the topic of conversations in social media multiple times due to malicious allegations and rumors started by third parties. Earlier today, they have once again been rumored to be getting a divorce, and the internet citizens are voicing their unsolicited opinions, so we have decided to compel some of them to get a grasp of what the public thinks of the rumors.

For the most part, people have been reacting quite underwhelmed, with comments filled with sarcastic ‘who would’ve thought?’ undertones. This is due to the repetitiveness of the rumor, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were rumored to be getting a divorce days after they got engaged, and the rumors never stopped since, so people are quite used to them.

The fact that Ben Affleck has been seen allegedly looking depressed and tired when he is around Jennifer Lopez does not help. There is a very popular and infamous video of him closing the car door after her, a rather chivalrous act on his part, but he seems to be forced to do it, and his gestures are those of an angry person (find the video right below). The reaction of the internet has been jumping to the conclusion that Jlo might be an exhausting wife to have, as she’s also been rumored to be a “demanding diva”, a rumor with no merit to it.

There are plenty of videos alike circling the internet adding context to the conversation about the divorce rumors, so we can infer that the general reaction is that people on the internet are not only not surprised, but they were even expecting their divorce due to their apparent marital problems.
