A few days ago, a letter from the California Attorney General’s Office labeled Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s foundation as ‘delinquent’, which was founded with the finality of supporting hundreds of people around the world that go through different issues. To this fact, on February 14th, the California governor, Gavin Newsom, defended them by admitting that the report was due to ‘technical procedures problems’.
Newsom expressed during a press conference this Wednesday that:
“I’m here at a behavioral health site, a mental health site. Archewell Foundation, run by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, do extraordinary work, particularly [for] women and girls, but notably, around mental health“. He also pointed out that: “And I just want folks to know, not only are they in compliance, it was a technical paperwork issue that was wildly overhyped, and with respect, I hope people that ran those headlines run this headline, that it was a very typical, technical issue around paperwork that persists for so many others as well“.
