King Charles and Queen Camilla were recently spotted today, (May 15th) strutting into St. Paul’s Cathedral, marking their territory for a flashy service. This royal outing comes hot on the heels of the royals’ noticeable non-show at the very same location last week, for an event that’s close to Prince Harry and his work!
For context, Prince Harry celebrated the Invictus Games, also in St. Paul’s Cathedral, on May 8th. The ceremony shines a light upon sick, wounded, and injured military service personnel, but it looks like King Charles and Queen Camilla weren’t too interested in this noble cause. Word on the Internet says the Duke had invited the royal couple, but apparently, King Charles’ agenda was too packed to make it.
‘Nice to see you!’

“It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme. The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon,” a royal spokesperson said during the week of the Invictus Games.
But wait—cut to a week later, and there’s a change in the air! The monarch and the Queen consort graced the Dedication Service of the Order of the British Empire in their snazzy long red robes. King Charles was leading as the head of the order and Camila sparkled as the Grand Master. The event, which had about 2000 honorees from the UK and the Commonwealth, recognizes the efforts of people from all walks of life.
Who would’ve thought these three could’ve had the opportunity to meet but the starts didn’t align for it to happen?
