Prince Harry of the United Kingdom was touring with Meghan Markle in Nigeria, and on May 10th, he visited a hospital that houses wounded Nigerian soldiers, where the Duke talked with one of them while honoring her iconic mother, the late Princess Diana of Wales, known for her extensive charity work and her warm human connection.
The Duke of Sussex made a solo visit to the Nigerian Army Referral Hospital in Kaduna. There he showed a deeply human side; he approached a wounded soldier who had lost his vision. Harry took the hand of the young while walking through the rooms, in a movement that completely resembled his mother, Princess Diana.
“Are they helping you? Do you feel better?” asked the Prince while he stood at soldier Habu Sadiq‘s bedside. The fact has been captured in a video recorded by the main foreign correspondent of the American magazine People, Simon Perry.

“Get better, be strong“, said Prince Harry to the soldier, who had been suffering from vision problems due to an explosion in the middle of a battle. The Duke also squatted next to another patient’s bed and posed for a photo with officials and staff of the hospital.
