Flashback to 2020: BLACKPINK’s Lisa was one of the mentors in the Chinese program “Youth With You.” The show was an emotional rollercoaster, with contestants and couches providing hopeful comments, as well as some more heartfelt words. This became all the more noticeable when Lisa wrote a heartfelt letter to these participants. 

In her words, the idol confessed her most vulnerable moments “Sometimes I secretly cried in bed because I was so homesick.” But she also surprised the contestants and the BLINKS (that’s BLACKPINK’s fandom name) with her determination to make her dreams come true:

“As you try to achieve your dream, you will encounter many barriers. However, no matter what you face, I hope you continuously move forward, and I will be here to support you.”
