Prince Harry surprised the children of fallen soldiers by dropping in for a visit and spending quality time with their families in the UK. “It was an honor,” the Duke of Sussex said about his final stop before flying to his next commitment and no sight of a meet-up with King Charles was made apparent.
This visit aligns with the mission the Prince has for the Invictus Games, which supports wounded, injured, and sick military personnel. Consequently, the Duke was appointed as the inaugural global ambassador for “Scotty’s Little Soldiers” in 2023.
During this heartfelt event, Prince Harry conversed with parents and foundation representatives. He also opened up about his experience growing up without his mother, Princess Diana, and remarked about the way “Scotty’s Little Soldiers” has made a great impact as a movement.
“I didn't speak about losing my mum for well over ten years. I thought, what is the point in talking about something that you can't change? I was wrong, talking about it changed my life.” – Prince Harry 🤍

“It was an honor to meet so many of the wonderful families Scotty’s Little Soldiers supports. I have long believed in the mission of this charity, and I truly believe the work they do to foster community and create space for young people to connect, grieve, but also have fun together is life-changing.”
Prince’s Harry visit occurred hours before he flew to Nigeria with Meghan Markle.
