Recently, Tom Holland updated his fans on his social networks with a new image that has left more than one of them worried for the actor’s health; even his father, Dominic Holland, explained what had happened during a pleasant moment in family.
Through Instagram stories, the star of the ‘Spider-Man: Home’ saga posts a new photo of his forehead with an evident mark that even seems very painful. The actor also added the phrase, “Who ever said that golf isn’t a contact sport is full of sh*t. You can almost see the dimples“, which made it evident that a golf ball had hit his head.
Tom knew that many were going to ask for an explanation behind that injury and how it had happened. For that reason, he went ahead and tagged his father and the link where he explained the “fun” anecdote behind this wound on his face.
“In fact, it was hit by a sand wedge from 80 yards, albeit by a scratch golfer who should have known better and frankly been more accurate. The offending player was Alex Roberts, a close friend of Tom’s … without knowing that his most important and highly valuable friend was off the green to his left. Whack. The ball struck Tom on the right of his forehead. It was a great shock and it certainly hurt, hence why Tom hit the turf as though he’d been shot“, said Dominic on his Patreon blog.
