Stray Kids’ Bang Chan recently demonstrated what it means to be a group leader during the 2024 Met Gala. The “CASE 143” hitmakers dazzled with elegant Tommy Hilfiger outfits, posing on the black and green carpet and making history as the first K-pop group officially invited to the gala with a unique style.
However, as the cameramen started taking photos, they commented on the group’s “unemotional faces” and used micro-aggressions, like speaking in Japanese (even though SKZ are all Korean). Then, when Stray Kids revealed their second outfits by taking off their coats, the photographers expressed annoyance, collectively groaning and complaining about having to take more pictures.

Despite this disrespect, Bang Chan handled the situation impressively, with videos moving across social media proving he’s well-mannered and polite. The footage shows the idol giving off calm vibes, glancing at the cameras before signaling his group members to follow him up the stairs, tactfully distancing themselves from the foul-mouthed photographers.
And just like that, Bang Chan gives a master class on royal composure, keeping his crew calm and positive, even under scrutiny—a mark of a true leader!
