Recently, SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu has gone strongly viral among Korean netizens due to his reaction to an unfortunate situation that occurred at one of the events that the boygroup organizes to spend time with their fans.
Fans affirm that Mingyu is well known for his calm, loving, and kind personality when it comes to dealing with fans. However, it seems that his patience also has limits, as in a new video, the ‘agressive‘ reaction of the idol was caught after seeing a fan with an ‘ofensive‘ sign.
On May 4th, a special event was held for CARATs to celebrate the release of the last album of the boy group SEVENTEEN. All interactions were going great until Mingyu saw the sign of a fan, which he took and put down, then he quickly walked away while smiling, trying to keep himself professional.
jangan jahat jahat sama Mingyu dongg☹️
anak sebaik ini berhadapan sm fans yg ga tau batasan, bayangin dia smpe bersikap kaya gini jdi ngerasain gmna sakitnya, tolong berhenti pake jokes freak biar dinotis, ga lucu sumpah. pic.twitter.com/dsB67g2wSR— mayo (@cheriochima) May 4, 2024
But what did it say in the sign to manage to bother the idol? Well, on May 7, netizens found a photo where the content in the poster was exposed, which also has some photos of the Mingyu, where he does not look very good, and had words like “Potato country” and “Thumbelina Kim Mingyu“.
After discovering the content of the sign, many CARATS defend the artist, as he has previously made clear that he feels unconfortable with the jokes about ‘potatoes’, besides the jokes about his hair in that particular photo.
