Was Min Hee Jin searching control to end NewJeans’ contracts?

The recent controversy between HYBE and ADOR‘s CEO, Min Hee Jin has stirred anxiety among NewJeans’ fans, who frequently wake up to legal feuds. As of May 2nd, reports from South Korean media outlets state that CEO Min Hee Jin has requested the authority to end the contracts of the NewJeans girls without the approval of ADOR and HYBE’s stakeholders.

Typically, situations about the exclusive contracts of K-Pop stars involve detailed discussions with a board of directors and all stakeholders. However, Min Hee Jin seemingly pushed for an agreement to end NewJeans’ contracts, all without a board meeting.

The situation continues to be controversial, as the ongoing feud between the ADOR CEO and HYBE seems to have no end. Chat conversations, documents, and other claims have been revealed, putting both companies in a tough spot.

As of now, Bunnies (that’s the name NewJeans fans have) are demanding an official statement from both labels, as they are concerned about the girl group’s future.
