Princess Leonor of Spain isn’t just any student at the military academy in Zaragoza! Even though teachers have tried to give her the same treatment as her other classmates, the Princess is still a royal with a unique academic path. Since day 1, she’s excelled in every test and training in her study plan, but wait! Leonor will never be on the frontline when it comes to some classes. The reason? It’s simply not a fit for a royal.
“Monarquia Confidencial” spilled that Leonor was specifically excluded from a combat training class. While we’ve seen the Spanish Princess handling rifles and other firearms in photos, her training emphasizes military intelligence over physical combat. This focus aligns more with her royal status, rather than preparing her for direct contact in the battleground.

This curriculum decision wasn’t too surprising for royal followers, as they’ve long speculated that Princess Leonor’s military education would not be like the rest of military students. Her curriculum should be tailored to suit her future responsibilities as the Princess of Asturias (and potential Queen of Spain). After all, it’s all about educating a monarch, not a soldier.
