Just as everyone was vibing with these chic sunglasses, plagiarism claims began to cloud over this Jennie x Gentle Monster collab. 

The reason? All the tiny details on the sunglasses, such as bows, sparkly hearts, and stars, are drawing suspicious parallels to YVMIN, a brand known for its eyewear and jewelry that gives off similar vibes. Word on the internet says YVMIN even showcased comparable products on their Instagram stories, fueling the plagiarism claims even further!

While some internet detectives are calling the BLACKPINK member and Gentle Monster copycats, other fans argue that everything’s a coincidence. They’re expressing that brands often work with similar designs, especially in accessories, and that Jennie is only under scrutiny because of her celebrity status.
