In recent days, amid great controversies, HYBE refuted accusations that BTS is involved in illegal music chart manipulation with a new statement in which they denied the rumors and also assured they would take legal action against those who attack their artists.

During the strong internal disputes between HYBE and its subsidiary ADOR, the K-Pop boy group from the BIGHIT MUSIC subsidiary received accusations of chart manipulation, which generated concern and anger among fans of BTS, who shared their comments on networks.

On Sunday, April 28th, the corporation decided to speak out over these speculations, stating the accusations are “completely unfounded“. While BIGHIT MUSIC said, “The company views these actions as severe violation to the artists’ rights and will respond decisively“.

Some experts even said that these accusations against BTS would come as a retaliatory response from the ADOR label, which is involved in a major dispute with HYBE due to alleged plagiarism by their artist NewJeans to debut the new girl group ILLIT under another subsidiary.
