This Sunday, April 28th, Prince Harry confirms his date of return to the United Kingdom. This time his visit is due to the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the ‘Invictus Games‘, which aims to support the recovery of wounded, injured, and sick veterans.
The Duke of Sussex will be in London on May 8th, as he is scheduled to give a reading at St. Paul’s Cathedral in commemoration of the games, although it is not yet known whether he will be accompanied by his wife during the visit to his native country.
Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, last visited the UK was in 2022, when they attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. However, there are high expectations that she will be present for the celebration of the first decade of the ‘Invictus Games’ that her husband founded in 2014 after returning from Afghanistan.
The youngest son of the monarch, unlike Meghan, has been a more frequent visitor to the UK, even leaving family problems behind as soon as he learned of King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis and taking the first available plane to visit him.
