The Royal Family experienced one of the saddest moments after Queen Elizabeth II deceased. After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from the British monarchy, things never were the same. Even during the toughest moments King Charles III and Harry couldn’t riddle their conflicts.
The King’s decision to ban Prince Harry from wearing his military uniform to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral might be one of the biggest low blows for the Prince. Several royal authors have discussed the repercussions this act might cause inside the Royal Family, and some others explain this was the last nail in the coffin.
Christopher Andersen, the royal author, had an exclusive convo during the October 26, 2022 episode of the “Royally Us” podcast. The author reflected on the possible reconciliation between the two parties, which was completely disturbed because of King Charles III’s decisions.
“I think that reconciliation might have been the intention, but the king’s decision to initially not permit Harry to wear his uniform and during this funeral and the fact that at times, it seemed as if Harry and Meghan were being shoved in the background and even shunned, that did a lot of damage, I think.”
Andersen’s comments resurfaced online because of the current situation with the Royal Family. After King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis, there has not been a major force to connect Prince Harry with the Royal Family and finally end their feud once and for all. Several royal followers strongly believed King Charles III’s decisions at that time were the perfect excuse to never forget each other.
