A few hours ago, HYBE responded to allegations of taking advantage of BTS‘ RM amid the NewJeans dispute due to the recent announcement of the rapper’s album release, which surprised many by matching with the comeback date of the girl group.
In recent days, HYBE has been in a war of labels regarding an alleged plagiarism that NewJeans of the ADOR label is suffering from the new girl group of the BELIF LAB label, ILLIT. But now, another label, BIGHIT MUSIC, seems to be getting into dispute with their recent announcement.

BIGHIT MUSIC recently announced that their artist, the BTS’ leader, will release his second solo album titled ‘Right Place, Wrong Person‘ on May 24th, but previously ADOR declared NewJeans would make their comeback this same day, raising speculations of sabotage using RM fame.
Due to this, HYBE Corporation released a statement saying “Album release dates are autonomously decided by each label, and adjustments are made if they overlap“, and despite an ‘unavoidable scheduling conflict’, the decision was finally made with the approval of ADOR director, Min Hee Jin.
