Kate Middleton reveals a characteristic of Queen Elizabeth II’s personality that she did not expect

During her appearance in the BBC commemorative documentary to commemorate the late monarch’s 90th birthday, Kate Middleton revealed a characteristic of Queen Elizabeth II‘s personality that she did not expect and that they apparently have in common, which caught her attention much more.

The Princess of Wales said, “I suppose what’s really struck me is her love for the simple things in life“, while she explained that it was something that she would never have imagined since she was the queen of England, so “you would expect a lot of grandeur and a lot of fuss and things“, confessed the future monarch.

Kate recognized that Queen Elizabeth II had many virtues; even so, she revealed, “What really resonates with me is her love of simple things, the lack of fuss and I think that’s a special quality I think to have“. Without a doubt, simplicity and a good heart are also two of the most notable characteristics of the Princess.

She also talked about how kind the queen had been to her, explaining, “The fact she took the time to make sure that I was happy and looked after for that particular occasion, which probably in everything that she’s doing is a very small element, which just shows how caring she is, really“.
