On April 25th, South Korean media outlets revealed that the K-Pop girl group Kep1er is scheduled to disband in July 2024, after exactly 2 years and 6 months since their debut, making all their fans sad about the unexpected and soon ending of this band project.
According to Star News, despite their great success in Asian countries and efforts to achieve contract renewals with their companies, WakeOne and Swing, their nine members are set to return to their own agencies at the time they conclude their group activities.

However, the girl group has announced they will release a new album, which will be their first full album in Japan, titled ‘Kep1going‘, scheduled to be released on May 8th. In addition, they are also planning a concert to say goodbye to their fans.
Kep1er is a K-Pop group formed from the Mnet survival program called ‘Girls Planet 999‘, in which they were the winners, and later debuted with the EP ‘First Impact‘ in January 2022. Throughout their career, they also released four more mini albums in Korea and three singles in Japan.
