The insignificant salary for the cleaner requested by King Charles III sparked criticism

Recently, it was announced that there was a vacancy for the cleaning of Windsor Castle. It was immediately revealed what the insignificant salary offered for the position of cleaner offered by King Charles III was, which quickly sparked much criticism as it was considered offensive.

Cleaning such a large property does not seem to be an easy task, so the job requires four days of work per week, including Sundays, so it is clear that the requirements would be to perform a total of 20 hours per week as a minimum.

The position offers the absolute minimum wage in Scotland, about £12 per hour for a total of 1,120 euros per month, causing much outrage in the world that has questioned whether royals really value their staff or simply as easily replaceable employees.

Such a low salary for cleaning a property of that size seems abusive to the British people, despite including benefits such as accommodation and food, especially considering that King Charles III‘s fortune is about $1.2 billion.
