Despite living on a farm away from the city, Kate Middleton‘s brother, James, was involved in a hilarious dispute with one of his neighbors, 65-year-old David Alderton, who is actively protesting against the royal because of the noise and light pollution coming from his residence.
James claims that his neighbor is confrontational: “Mr. Alderton has a history of disputes with neighbours within the village” and reveals that this is not the first time he has initiated conflict: “In 2017 he took legal action against the parish council and a parishioner and intimidated locals for objecting to a series of planning application“.
However, David Alderton also had a chance to tell his side of the story and told the Daily Mail that the Princess of Wales’ brother uses inappropriate equipment for his job: “It’s ancient, noisy, dirty, smelly machinery, old Massey Fergusons, an old threshing machine, wood chipping machines, you name it“.
Alderton also added, “It’s a farm so I suppose he thinks he feels justified in having farm machinery even if it’s derelict. But he has a duty of care to his neighbors and the environment – it should not impact on people nearby“, the man who runs a motorcycle dealership explained.
James has tried to keep the situation peaceful and says, “It’s sad that someone who chooses to live in the countryside in a farming community can’t accept the occasional noise and smells of tractors and animals“, he finally said regarding the situation.
