Okay, TWICE lovers, time to get all eyes! In a recent episode of the group’s “2TWICE’s DATE,” members Jihyo and Chaeyoung were captured having an honest conversation about the leadership role in the group. Their chat focused mostly on Jihyo’s own experiences, spilling the tea on possibly stepping down as the group’s leader!
As their chat progressed, the “Killin’ Me Good” hitmaker opened up more, as her position wasn’t ceremonial at all. Actually, her role was pivotal in TWICE, contributing significantly to the group’s cohesion and success. However, at some point, during their contract renewal process, she did think about giving up on the title.

“There are times when it’s difficult to do those things. So, is this right? I’m still young and inexperienced. I don’t know much about it as we encounter new things. That’s how it was…”
Despite the struggles, Jihyo continued to lead TWICE and is responsible for hearing all the other 8 voices in the group. After that, she takes the opinions and feelings of the whole group and gives them to JYP Entertainment. As a result, fans quickly sent waves of support and praised her for her role and resilience.
Leader Jihyo, best leader!
