Netflix is always at the top of delivering entertaining and quality content into the world of mainstreaming. However, there are sometimes mishaps along the way with some actors, actresses, and production overall, this was the clear case of “The Witcher,” which is going to be canceled by Netflix.
“The Witcher” became a huge force in streaming because of its breathtaking storyline and the phenomenal performance of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. The actor decided to relinquish the main character because he couldn’t find a balance between the showrunner’s vision and his love for the original saga.
Everybody thought it was the end of the world after concluding season three. Netflix confirmed that Liam Hemsworth was in charge of the most challenging recastings in modern television, becoming Geralt of Rivia for seasons 4 and 5.
Unfortunately, Netflix has decided to cancel the series after concluding the fifth season of the show, which is going to wrap up Andrzej Sapkowski’s three remaining books, “Baptism of Fire,” “The Tower of the Swallow”, and “Lady of the Lake.” The news is a low blow for the fans who completely blamed Henry Cavill’s absence in the next installments.
Should just end it now.
The Witcher has to be one of the biggest disappointments to date. Shame Netflix hired people that have no care for this franchise & were more interested in pushing their own stupid nonsense into the show.
Thankful Henry Cavill said enough is enough. https://t.co/7s9cEUFOdN
