In recent months, the rap industry has had much to talk about due to the dispute between two of their greatest artists, and recently, BTSRM got into this Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar controversy, acting as a peacemaker between the two and drawing much attention among fans.

The scandal apparently started at the end of 2023 when Drake collaborated with the rapper J. Cole in the song ‘First Person Shooter‘, which was not well received by Lamar, who later joined Future and Metro Boomin to go against these rappers with subtle references to their comments.

Later, on April 13th, Drake appeared to answer a new song by DJ Akademiks titled ‘Push Ups‘ criticizing Kendrick’s height and mentioning his wife. Fans have defended the rapper and commented about the controversy, and RM is not different.

The BTS leader made a reference to the controversy acting as a peacemaker between the two by sharing in his Instagram story the Kendrick Lamar song ‘Poetic Justice‘ ft. Drake from 2012, demonstrating that he wants his rap idols to end this battle.
