Former aide spills the tea on harsh treatment by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might have lasted as senior royals for about two years, leaving the monarchy behind in the United States. However, their former aide, Samantha Cohen, seems to remember all too well. Despite working for the late Queen Elizabeth for years, her experience with the royal couple wasn’t to die for… 

Samantha was initially supposed to work for six months but ended up staying as a private secretary for 18 months, as they couldn’t find a replacement for her. When the replacement was found, they took them to Africa with Meghan and Prince Harry, but the person left while in Africa!

All these experiences are highlighted in Valentine Low’s book, “Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown,” where the former aide spilled that she was “treated harshly” by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. She went on to explain that being with this problematic duo was like “working with teenagers,” ouch!

In the end, Samantha Cohen can’t help but share her favorite throwback memories of working for Queen Elizabeth. She said that the late queen was humble and loved having a little bit of drama and difficulties because it was a refreshing break from royal protocols.
