BABYMONSTER has recently stepped into the spotlight with their single “SHEESH,” carving out their own space in the Kpop scene. Amid their flurry of promotional activities, the group visited KBS Cool FM’s radio show to talk about their music. But boom! In this appearance, one of the members sparked widespread chatter with her words.

Quizzed on what sets them apart from other groups, BABYMONSTER’s Pharita didn’t hold back. She emphasized her group’s live singing capabilities, which they practiced for years of rigorous training. This comment was enough to stir the pot, leading many fans to speculate that the BABYMONSTER member was seemingly shading HYBE’s groups, notably ILLIT and LE SSERAFIM, who have been roasted for their live vocals.

“Our vocal skills are good, and we are great live performers,” Pharita declared quickly and confidently.

While Pharita was right in saying that BABYMONSTER has amazing live performing skills, proved by their appearances on music shows, her statement has also subtly turned heads and made fans think about the prevailing industry standards when it comes to live singing.

Did she really refer to LE SSERAFIM, or was it just a simple coincidence? Let us know your thoughts.
