Queen Letizia shines at Dutch state banquet with her fashion choices

Queen Letizia of Spain just set the fashion bar to its highest limit! The royal styled to perfection at a state banquet in Amsterdam, turning heads and dropping jaws. For the occasion, the Spanish Queen opted for a stunning royal blue gown, accentuated with a bright yellow sash.

The real showstopper? Her Cartier Diamond Loop Tiara, perched atop her head. This sparkly heirloom has graced the heads of Spanish royalty for generations, but it first debuted at a state banquet in 2018 for Chinese president, Xi Jinping and his wife.

Complementing her dazzling tiara, Queen Letizia decided to wear Queen Victoria Eugenie’s diamond earrings and a chic grey pearl brooch from the Joyas de Pasar. This type of shiny jewelry is only reserved for the most prestigious occasions, and let’s say the Queen of Spain knew this was the right time!

The event was hosted by King Willem-Alexander at the Royal Palace Amsterdam, and of course, it was graced with the presence of King Felipe, too. The banquet was also attended by the crème de la crème of Dutch royalty, including the Princess of Orange, Princess Beatrix, and Princess Margriet.

And just like that, Queen Letizia showcased her flair for fashion!
