BTS’ V’s propaganda video for the military service generates divided reactions

In recent days, new images of BTS‘ V collapsed networks, exciting fans who wanted to see a new project of the idol, but this propaganda video for the military service generates divided reactions among ARMYs who do not agree with the message.

Due to this, many fans showed their pride for the idol’s new stage serving his country in the army; they even trended the hashtag ‘CAPTAIN KOREA V‘ and left comments such as “wow, we are so proud of you, Kim Taehyung!!!” and “how cool and handsome you are“, among others.

However, many other fans feel disappointed by this video, as this kind of propaganda could promote violence, contradicting those who identify as pacifists. This even doesn’t align with what BTS has advocated for in the past with their ‘LOVE MYSELF‘ campaign with UNICEF.

In addition, these fans have shown concern, as many have shared that the idol could have been forced to do this propaganda because of his status as a global artist, and they also criticize other fans who praise and sexualize BTS’ V in his military uniform.
